The Faculty of Design (Fakultät Gestaltung) of Hochschule Wismar is based on Philipp-Müller-Straße in Wismar. Product design and jewellery design are the focus areas of its bachelor's programme 'Design – Product and Jewellery' and of its master's in Material Culture Design, which cover the design of material goods from industrial products to jewellery objects in project-based study, including cooperation with manufacturing companies. The faculty also teaches architecture, interior architecture, lighting design and communication design.
