In short
The School of Fashion and Textiles of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University traces its history to the Department of Textile Industries of the Hong Kong Technical College, founded in 1957; it later became the Institute of Textiles and Clothing and took the name School of Fashion and Textiles in 2022. It teaches fashion and textile design, fashion business and fashion technology, from a BA (Hons) Scheme in Fashion to MA programmes in fashion design, global fashion management and sustainable fashion, an MSc in intelligent wearable technology, and MPhil and PhD research degrees.
