In short

The HTBLuVA St. Pölten is a federal technical upper secondary school whose mechanical engineering department offers a five-year course with two specialisations: robotics and automation, and industrial design. The industrial design specialisation is aimed at students who want to combine creative, design-oriented work with technology, and the department lists product design and prototyping among its career fields, alongside 3D CAD design, manufacturing technology and workshop practice. The course ends with the Reife- und Diplomprüfung and, after professional experience, gives access to the engineer title. The school is on Waldstraße in St. Pölten.
