In short
Huanghe Science and Technology University is a private undergraduate university founded in 1984, with its main campus in Zhengzhou and four campuses in all; the university states it was China's first private regular college. It has nine faculties and 69 bachelor's programmes. Its Faculty of Arts and Sports, set up in 2019, includes a bachelor's programme in fashion and accessory design, a Henan comprehensive reform pilot programme, which had 60 places in the 2026 admissions plan. The faculty also has 43 studios, among them one for the intangible heritage of Henan zhuizi ballad singing.
