IED Cagliari is the Sardinian branch of the Istituto Europeo di Design, housed in Villa Satta and its botanical garden in Cagliari. It offers first-level academic diplomas and continuing education across four schools: design, fashion, visual arts and communication. The design area covers interior design, product design, exhibit design and home decor, and the fashion area covers fashion design and visual merchandising, with a teaching method the school describes as learning by doing.
