In short
IED Milano is the founding campus of IED – Istituto Europeo di Design, the design school established in Milan in 1966 by Francesco Morelli and owned since 2017 by the Francesco Morelli Foundation; the group also has campuses in Rome, Turin, Florence, Cagliari, Como, Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The Milan campus opened a fashion department in 1986 and the IED Fashion school in Via Pompeo Leoni in 2002. Its first-level academic diplomas include fashion design, fashion stylist, fashion marketing and communication, jewelry design, product design and interior design, as well as photography, cinema, sound design and video design, alongside master's, Master of Arts and continuing education courses.
