IES Colonial is a public secondary school in Fuente Palmera, in the province of Córdoba, opened in February 1990. Alongside secondary education and the baccalaureate, it has a fashion department that teaches an intermediate vocational course in Garment Making and Fashion (Confección y Moda), covering pattern making, cutting, made-to-measure and industrial garment making and finishing, and a higher vocational course in Pattern Making and Fashion (Patronaje y Moda), run in alternation with companies, covering textile and leather materials, prototypes, industrial pattern making and grading.
