IES Sixto Marco is a public secondary school in Elche, founded in 1963 as a technical secondary institute and named after the local painter Sixto Marco in 1993. Its textile, clothing and leather family teaches an intermediate cycle in footwear and fashion accessories, higher cycles in footwear and accessories design and production and in pattern making and fashion, and a basic programme in repairing textile and leather goods. The footwear design cycle covers footwear and leather-goods pattern making, prototypes and production processes.
