In short

The Gaspar campus of the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina offers a higher technology degree in Fashion Design and a post-secondary technical course in Garment Pattern Making. The fashion design course covers fashion research, collection planning, prototypes, technical sheets and portfolios, in laboratories equipped with industrial sewing, overlock and cutting machines and mannequins for three-dimensional pattern making. Its projects include natural dyeing of textile samples and the use of textile waste to make sustainable products.
