The Instituto Nacional de Aprendizaje (INA) is Costa Rica's national training institute, with its headquarters in San José and regional training centres. Its textile unit offers programmes in garment making, pattern cutting, fashion design, embroidery design and haute couture garment making, and its culture and crafts unit trains in leather crafts, utilitarian and decorative woodwork, carving and inlay, and artisan ceramics. Its tourism unit teaches cooking, pastry and bakery, barista and sommelier skills.
