The Institut des Métiers d'Excellence is the work-study training programme of the LVMH group, created in 2014 to pass on know-how in creation, craftsmanship and client-experience trades. Apprentices follow technical and theoretical teaching at partner schools and universities while working in a group Maison under a paid apprenticeship or professionalisation contract, and receive their school's diploma together with the group's Brevet d'Excellence. The site lists among the trades covered couture (flou and tailoring), leather goods, watchmaking, jewellery, make-up formulation, design, vine and wine, culinary arts and sales; the programme states that it operates in six countries. It is not a school with its own campus.
