In short
The Institut La Bisbal is a public secondary and vocational school in La Bisbal d'Empordà, in the province of Girona. Among its vocational courses it teaches an intermediate course in plastic arts and design in artistic ceramics – pottery, lasting two years (1,600 hours), with a pottery workshop, ceramic materials and technology, drawing, volume, history of art and ceramics, projects and work placements, which trains students to make ceramic and fired-clay objects. Its Ceramic-Lab project brings ceramics and gardening students together to design and prototype a modular ceramic system.
