The Institut Milà i Fontanals is a public vocational training institute in Igualada, in the province of Barcelona, which began operating in the 1975-76 school year and today offers only post-compulsory vocational courses across many sectors. In the textile, garment and leather family it teaches a two-year intermediate course in manufacturing and finishing of textile products with a knitwear profile, in dual format with time in companies, covering the preparation of raw materials and the operation of industrial equipment for making textile products.
