The Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala (IFTK) was established by the Government of Kerala in technical collaboration with the National Institute of Fashion Technology, under the Centre for Continuing Education Kerala, and is located at Vellimon, Kundara, in Kollam district. It offers a four-year Bachelor of Design in fashion design, affiliated with the University of Kerala since the 2014-15 academic year. The curriculum includes fashion illustration, textiles, surface development, pattern making, draping and garment construction, with exposure to India's craft heritage.
