In short

The Escuela Superior de Ingeniería Textil (ESIT) is the textile school of Mexico's Instituto Politécnico Nacional; according to its history page it opened in 1933 as a school of textile industries and took its present name in 1936. Its degree in Textile Engineering has tracks in garment making, spinning, weaving and finishing, covering pattern making and industrial cutting, leather goods, Jacquard weaving, dyeing and textile printing; a master's in Textile Engineering began in 1979. The school is in Building 8 of the Adolfo López Mateos campus in Zacatenco.
