Institut Seni Indonesia Padangpanjang is a state arts institute in Padang Panjang, West Sumatra. Its Faculty of Fine Arts and Design offers programmes in crafts (Seni Kriya), with specialisations in wood, metal, leather, ceramic and textile crafts, as well as craft education, product design and fashion design. The applied bachelor's (D4) programme in fashion design, opened in 2019, focuses on Muslim clothing made from traditional woven fabrics with embroidery techniques, rooted in Malay culture. The institute traces its origins to ASKI Padangpanjang, founded in 1965.
