In short

Istanbul Gelişim Vocational School began teaching in 2008 with nine programmes and became the nucleus of Istanbul Gelişim University; it now offers associate-degree programmes in many fields. Since 2017-2018 its campus has 22 workshops, including fashion, ceramics and screen-printing workshops, and computer labs. The Fashion Design programme trains designers and pattern makers for ready-to-wear and fashion who can turn ideas into designs, draft the patterns and produce the garments.
