The Vocational School of Technical Sciences of Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, on the Büyükçekmece campus in Istanbul, offers two-year associate programmes including Footwear Design and Production and Ceramic and Glass Design. The footwear programme began admitting students in 2009-2010 under a protocol with TASEV, the Turkish footwear industry's research and education foundation; it combines design and production courses with a 30-working-day internship in approved factories. The ceramics and glass programme trains staff for the ceramic and glass sectors and has taken part in the CraftIstanbul crafts fair and the Denizli Glass Biennial. The university's Forestry Vocational School also runs a Furniture and Decoration programme, admitting students since 2002-2003.
