The Liceo Artistico Pietro Selvatico is a state art high school in Padua, descended from the Istituto d'Arte di Padova founded in 1867 by the architect and art historian Pietro Selvatico. After two common years with orientation workshops, students choose among architecture and environment, figurative arts (painting and sculpture), design and scenography; the design track includes the art of metals and goldsmithing and the art of textiles and fashion. The school has its main seat in Largo Meneghetti and a second building in Via Belzoni, and it also runs an evening course.
