The Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano (ITM) in Medellín offers a six-semester technology programme in industrial design at its Robledo campus, in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. It trains technologists to give form to objects for industrial production, including furniture, packaging, tools and utilitarian items, with an emphasis on materials and manufacturing processes; applicants take an aptitude test.
