In short

ITS TAM is the Biella site of the ITS Academy Sistema Moda TAM – GEM, a higher technical institute that runs two-year post-diploma courses for the textile and fashion industry and, at its GEM site in Valenza, for fine jewellery. In Biella the courses are creative textile design and collection development, fashion maker (garment making, knitwear and prototyping) and tech-sportswear design for garments and knitwear. Courses last 1,800 hours over four semesters, with at least 35 percent of the time spent in companies, and are funded by the Piedmont Region.
