The IUT d'Annecy, part of the Université Savoie Mont Blanc, runs with OSV Academy a one-year professional bachelor, Outdoor Softgoods Design & Development, taught entirely in English on the Annecy-le-Vieux campus. The programme trains product developers for the outdoor sports industry in developing and managing clothing, bags and textile accessories, with a six-month taught semester followed by a four- to six-month company internship. OSV Academy, which the university says was founded in 2009 by outdoor companies and the Outdoor Sports Valley cluster, builds the courses with industry professionals.
