Jiangnan Vocational College of Media Arts is a privately run higher vocational college in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, approved by the provincial government in 2003; it grew out of a continuing-education institute set up in 1993–1994. Its School of Fashion Design offers fashion and apparel design, digital fashion design, image design, calligraphy and painting, and interior, environmental and advertising design. The school's garment training workshop reproduces an industrial production line from pattern making and cutting to sewing, pressing and quality control, and the school also hosts a research centre for Huishan clay figurines.
