Kadir Has University's Faculty of Art and Design is on the historic Cibali campus in Istanbul. Its Industrial Design department teaches integrated product development, combining aesthetics and creativity with ergonomics, materials, environment, design management and economics. Design projects are mostly run in collaboration with companies and include factory visits, workshops and field research; from the second year teaching follows a project-based model built with industry representatives.
