Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University teaches crafts and design on its Avşar campus in Kahramanmaraş, southern Turkey, in two units. The Onikişubat Vocational School runs two-year associate programmes in Jewellery and Accessory Design, Traditional Handicrafts, Fashion Design, Furniture and Decoration, Clothing Production Technology and Architectural Restoration. The Faculty of Fine Arts has a Department of Textile and Fashion Design, set up in 2006 and admitting undergraduate students since 2018, whose courses cover pattern making, sewing, drawing, weaving, printing, fibres, yarns and finishing, with a semester of workplace training and a summer internship; the faculty also has a Department of Industrial Design.
