Trabzon Vocational School of Karadeniz Technical University was founded in 1986 and has been based at the Akçaabat campus since 2009. Its Handicrafts department teaches traditional and decorative crafts such as marbling (ebru), felt work, embroidery and silk-cocoon work in dedicated workshops, and its Fashion Design programme presents student collections in end-of-year shows. Programmes are two-year associate degrees.
