In short

Karmøy Folkehøgskule is a folk high school in Kopervik on the island of Karmøy, where students combine two of about twenty lines; the school states that its roots go back to 1876 and that it has been at Eide in Kopervik since 1906. Its Fashion Klær Design line teaches sewing, pattern construction, knitting and redesign, and the Bunad & Festdrakt line lets students make their own bunad or festive costume over the year with traditional sewing and finishing techniques. The Baker & Konditor line teaches bread, pastry and cake making, with study trips to Brussels and Paris.
