In short

Kelloseppäkoulu, the Finnish School of Watchmaking, is a vocational school in Leppävaara, Espoo, founded in Lahti in 1944 and run by the foundation Kellosepäntaidon Edistämissäätiö. It trains watchmakers and micromechanics, combining traditional hand skills with modern technology, and offers the two-year Independent Watchmaker course in English for those aiming at independent high-end watchmaking. The school states that it will add a goldsmithing programme towards the vocational qualification in precious metals in autumn 2027, and it also runs shorter hand-skill courses.
