In short

The Keramikschule Landshut brings three state schools under one roof: a full-time vocational school with a three-year potter (Keramiker) training, a vocational school with block courses for apprentices from ceramic workshops in Bavaria, and a master school that trains journeymen over two years as state-certified ceramic designers and master potters. It is run by the Free State of Bavaria. The site dates the opening of the Royal Pottery School to 4 November 1873; the school still holds annual graduate exhibitions in Landshut.
