In short

The Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts teaches fine art, design and architecture at bachelor's and master's level, in full-time and part-time study. Its Faculty of Design and Architecture includes a Department of Textile and Clothing Design, created in 2000, and a Department of Design whose origins go back to 1962, when an 'artistic construction' department was opened at the Kharkiv art-industrial institute; the Faculty of Fine Art has a Department of Restoration and Expertise of Works of Art.
