The School of Architecture and Design (SoA+D) of King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, at Bang Khun Thian in Bangkok, offers a four-year Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts in Design Innovation, the successor of its industrial design curriculum. The programme follows a human-centred approach based on cooperative work and hands-on user research, and trains designers for design- and manufacturing-oriented businesses; student projects include experimental furniture and a modular mould system for a basketry community enterprise. Graduates work, among other roles, as industrial designers, design consultants and design researchers.
