In short

The Department of Jewelry and Metal Design of Kongju National University in Gongju teaches design based on metal materials together with broad knowledge of the jewellery industry. Alongside hand-crafted precious jewellery, the department trains 3D digital metal designers and uses industry-academic cooperation and field training. It was created in 2001 as a jewellery design major and is now part of the College of Arts, established in 2012.
