In short
The Vocational School of Technical Sciences of Konya Technical University was founded in 1978 under the Ministry of Education, became Konya Vocational School of Selçuk University in 1982 and joined the new Konya Technical University in 2018. Its Handicrafts Department runs a two-year Jewellery and Jewellery Design programme combining traditional techniques with computer-aided product design, and its Textiles, Clothing, Footwear and Leather Department trains technicians in footwear design and production. Both programmes require two compulsory 30-working-day workplace internships.
