The Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of KTO Karatay University, a university founded by the Konya Chamber of Commerce, is based on the central campus in the Karatay district of Konya. Besides architecture, interior architecture and graphic design, it runs four-year degrees in Industrial Design, which aims to combine technical skill with artistic creativity in user-centred product design, and in Traditional Turkish Arts, a field the department describes as including calligraphy, illumination, miniature, marbling, bookbinding, carpet and kilim weaving, tiles, ceramics and wood carving. The faculty offers summer internships and Erasmus exchanges.
