The Kunstgymnasium Cademia is a state art high school in Ortisei (St. Ulrich) in Val Gardena, South Tyrol, where half of the subjects are taught in German and half in Italian, with Ladin as an additional language. Its design branch, offered since 2012, combines design drawing and models with experimental workshop work in clay, paper, cardboard, metal, fabric and other materials, on themes ranging from furniture making to gold and silversmithing, with the support of a carpentry workshop. The school shares its premises with the provincial vocational school for crafts.
