L'Académie des Métiers d'Art is the apprenticeship training centre (CFA) of the organisation Engagement & Entreprise, devoted to jewellery and the metal crafts of the luxury sector. Its Paris-Île-de-France campus, 1,000 m² with workshops on the Ourcq canal at 27 rue de Paris in Bobigny, offers work-study and full-time courses from CAP to bachelor's level: CAPs in jewellery-making, stone setting, polishing and lapidary work, specialisation certificates in fine jewellery and fashion jewellery, BMAs in jewellery and in stone setting, and a bachelor in luxury product design. The school says it was created in 2013 to open the luxury trades to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, became a CFA in 2020, and also teaches in Bordeaux.
