The Landesberufsschule Kuchl, at Markt 332 in Kuchl, is a compulsory vocational school for wood trades in the timber community of Kuchl, next to the Holztechnikum and the university of applied sciences, with a boarding house attached. It teaches apprentices in joinery, joinery technology and wood technology, and also in clothing design (women's and men's tailoring) and upholstery and decoration. Its workshops host the qualifying rounds for the national apprentice competitions.
