The Landesberufsschule Neunkirchen is the Lower Austrian vocational school for apprentices in metalworking trades. Alongside industrial metal and production technology, it teaches the metal design apprenticeships with specialisations in engraving (hand and machine engraving of coats of arms, dies, steel and copper engravings and jewellery), Gürtlerei (decorative objects in brass and copper, such as chandeliers, light fittings and furniture fittings, with chasing, polishing and patinating) and metal spinning, each lasting three years. The school's chronicle traces vocational instruction in the town back to 1875; it is located on Triester Straße in Neunkirchen.
