In short
The School of Architecture & Design (SArD) of the Lebanese American University has two departments: Architecture and Interior Design, and Art and Design, which teaches fine arts, graphic design and fashion design. The BFA in Fashion Design was established in autumn 2013 in collaboration with Elie Saab (the department also cites the London College of Fashion) and follows a four-year curriculum combining traditional and computer-aided design with hands-on construction and production training and the business side of the profession. The full degree is taught on the Beirut campus, while the foundation year can also be taken in Byblos; the school's programmes received NASAD accreditation in 2020.
