In short
The Lette Verein, at Viktoria-Luise-Platz in Berlin-Schöneberg, is a public-law foundation for school-based vocational training that runs vocational schools, a technical college and health-care schools in one building. It was founded in 1866 by Wilhelm Adolf Lette as an association to promote employment for women. Among its state-certified courses is fashion design (staatlich geprüfte/r Modedesigner/in); admission is by a home assignment, a portfolio and an in-house exam that includes a practical 3D task on a dress form. It also trains photo designers and graphic designers, as well as laboratory and health professions.
