The Lycée Choiseul, at 78 rue des Douets in Tours, is a general and technological lycée with BTS courses and a DN MADE in fashion. The three-year DN MADE fashion course, «research and creation: materials, collection and fashion communication», trains designers, artisan-designers and fashion professionals through creative practice, materials, volume, garment prototyping and fashion image; the school also offers the STD2A technological baccalaureate in design and applied arts. According to the school's history, the establishment was born in 1884 as the École Supérieure «Sévigné», and in 1959 it trained students, among others, in high-end dressmaking.
