The Lycée d'Alembert is a public polyvalent lycée in Paris (19th arrondissement, Sente des Dorées), with courses in health, social care and leather trades. For leather, it offers the two-year BTS Métiers de la mode – chaussure et maroquinerie, covering the design, development, industrialisation and making of shoes and leather goods with a six-week work placement, and a CAP in shoe repair and multiservice. It also trains orthopaedic shoemakers (podo-orthésiste, CAP and BTS) and orthoprosthetists.
