The Benoît Fourneyron vocational lycée in Saint-Étienne is part of the Monnet-Fourneyron school complex and brings together two trade lycées: one for building and energy trades and one for gunsmithing. The gunsmithing section, which the school links to Saint-Étienne's arms-making history and describes as the only one of its kind in France, offers a one-year CAP in gunsmithing and a two-year Brevet des métiers d'art, recruiting students who already hold a CAP or baccalaureate.
