The Lycée des métiers Charles Péguy is a public vocational school for industrial and craft trades in Eysines, near Bordeaux. Alongside electrical and maintenance courses it offers a CAP in leather goods, in which students work leather and other materials to make bags, purses, wallets, luggage and belts. Through the GRETA-CFA Aquitaine, the school also hosts apprenticeships for the CAP in leather goods, saddlery, shoe repair and jewellery-making and a one-year specialisation certificate in fine jewellery. Its teaching projects include a partnership with a luxury trunk-maker.
