In short
The Lycée des métiers Louis Guilloux is a public vocational school in Rennes, near the Beaulieu campus, with five fields: fashion materials and products, bakery and pastry, hotel and restaurant trades, health and social care, and customer relations. In fashion it prepares the vocational baccalaureate in sewing and garment making, covering pattern-making, cutting, assembly and finishing, and the CAP in fashion for soft garments (vêtement flou), also open to adults in one year. The school says it began in 1946 as a state apprenticeship centre for girls, first oriented towards the clothing trades; it moved to its current site in 1984.
