In short

The François Mansart lycée in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés opened in 1963 as a technical education centre called the École des Métiers du Bois and is today a trade lycée for wood, housing and design. Alongside general and technological courses, it teaches wood trades such as the CAP in joinery and carpentry, BTS courses and a three-year DN MADe in object design with an eco-design approach. The design section has a design studio and a model-making and prototyping workshop, and its students can follow machine training with the school's wood department for some projects.
