The Lycée Le Mans Sud is a public multi-track lycée in Le Mans with general, technological and vocational courses and a strong focus on vehicles. After the baccalaureate it offers BTS and a professional licence linked to vehicle maintenance and competition vehicles, a CAP in car painting and one-year FCIL courses for competition car and motorcycle mechanics. Its FCIL in the restoration of vintage cars and motorcycles (448 hours at the lycée plus a six-week placement) covers period engines, transmissions, braking, electrics, welding and composites, in a 2,000 m² workshop with bodywork, welding and paint booths.
