In short
The Lycée professionnel Georges Lamarque is a public vocational school specialising in wood and furniture trades, set in the grounds of the Château de la Pape at Rillieux-la-Pape, north of Lyon. Its courses include CAPs in cabinetmaking, joinery, wood sculpture, wood turning and upholstery (seat and decor), a vocational baccalaureate in crafts with an upholstery option, baccalaureates in fitting-out and wood manufacturing, the BMA and a national crafts diploma (BNMA) in cabinetmaking, and an apprenticeship BTS in wood development and production. Since 2025 it has also run a pre-vocational class oriented towards the crafts, and it is a site of the GRETA CFA Lyon Métropole for apprenticeship and adult training.
