The Lycée Raphaël Élizé, at 26 rue Saint-Denis in Sablé-sur-Sarthe, is a public lycée with general, technological (including STD2A design and applied arts), vocational and post-baccalaureate courses. In cabinetmaking it offers a one-year CAP for holders of a general or technological baccalaureate, also by apprenticeship, followed by the BMA craft diploma in cabinetmaking, which trains makers to design and build solid, veneered, period and contemporary furniture and fitted interiors. It also runs a three-year DN MADe in object design at bachelor's level, whose students work in the school's creative workshops.
