In short
The Maison Familiale Rurale de Puy-Sec, at Saint-Martin-de-Fraigneau in the Vendée, is a private, state-contracted association offering work-study training, mainly in agriculture and personal services. Since October 2023 it has run the one-year professional title Couturier en atelier mode et luxe, a level-3 diploma of the Ministry of Labour, with 16 weeks at the school and 36 in a company, by apprenticeship or professional contract. The course teaches hand stitching, assembling and making up garments for luxury ready-to-wear, with practice in the school's sewing workshop and placements in clothing manufacturers, luxury garment workshops, couture crafts and costume.
